Flange Mounted Miniature Tension Compression Load Cell FFG is made of stainless steel utilizing strain gauge technology to deliver maximum 0.1% non-linearity of rated capacity.Miniature tension load cell FFG offers 50N / 100N / 200N / 500N / 1000N / 2000N six rated capacities to choose from. Miniature Force Transducer FFG is suitable for both tension and compression force measurement. Stainless steel construction, flange-to-flange mounting, compact size, bidirectional force measurement, high accuracy, miniature tension force sensor FFG offers a perfect mixture for applications such as wire tension control, force distribution analysis, automated control, assembly force monitoring, spring testing, ultrasonic welding clamp force control, hand press force verification,and so on. Specifications

Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output is normally within 1mV/V~3mV/V.
Power supply is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the load cell output signal is normally within 0-45mV(-45mV...+45mV for bidirectional load cell).
Example one: FFG-2kN with 2.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 3.3V DC,the output range is -6.6mV...+6.6mV.
Example two: FFG-1kN with 2.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 5V DC,the output range is -10mV...+10mV.

Load cell + Signal amplifier:
Load cell normally outputs -30mV...+30mV which sometimes cannot be recognized by signal processing units directly,so signal conditioner is introduced to convert mV signal into 0-5V/0-10V/4-20mA for easy signal processing.
Example: FFG-500N working with -5-5V amplifier,the load-output relationship will be 0~500N compression load VS 0~5V output,0~500N tension load VS 0~(-5V) output,which is linear within the error range.

Load cell + Digital indicator
Digital indicator can work directly with load cell without signal amplifier,here are some functions from the indicator:
-Display force value in real time
-Peak holding to grab the maximum force during testing
-RS485 or RS232 interface
-0-5V/0-10V/4-20mA analog output
-Switch output
