M8 threaded universal S Beam Load Cell FS6A/FS6B is strain gauge
based intended for tension and compression force measurement. S
Type Load Cell FS6A/FS6B offers 0-11lb / 0-22lb / 0-44lb / 0-66lb /
0-110lb / 0-220lb / 0-440lb / 0-660lb eight rated measuring ranges
to choose from. M8/M12 metric threaded holes located on both ends
can be used to mount attachments such as eye bolts and hooks for
adapt to different cases. S type force transducer FS6A/FS6B offers
an accurate and affordable measuring solution for applications such
as material testing machines, hanging scales, hopper weighing,
automation equipment and so on.

A Force Sensor is a transducer that converts mechanical load into
mV signal proportional to the applied force.The acting force causes
deformation of the measuring element,the bonded strain gage deforms
accordingly which will cause the resistance change of the
wheatstone bridge,under constant power supply, the output signal
between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally,thus the
load/force can be measured by measuring the output signal from the
transducer.
Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of S-beam load cell FS6B is around 2.0mV/V.
Power supply of S type force sensor FS6B is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of S beam force transducer FS6A is normally
within -30mV...+30mV for tension and compression force measurement.
Example one: S type Load Cell FS6B-100kg with 2.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 5V DC,the output
range is -10mV...+10mV.
Example two: S beam force sensor FS6B-200kg with 2.0mV/V
sensitivity powered by 10V DC,the output range is -20mV...+20mV.
A signal conditioner can be used with the load cell to deliver
-5~5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output.
Example: S type force transducer FS6B-300kg working with -5-5V
amplifier,the Force-Voltage relationship will be 0-300kg
compression load VS 0-5V output, 0-300kg tension load VS 0-(-5V)
output,which is linear regardless of measurement error.
