Miniature Triaxial Load Cell FNZ is made of aluminum based on strain gauge technology offering
2.2 lb / 4.4 lb / 11 lb / 22 lb four measuring ranges for all three
axes,each axis is capable of measuring force in both tension and
compression direction. Multi-axis force sensor FNZ utilizes independent wheatstone full bridge for each axis to
deliver mV/V output which proportional to the applied force and
requires no mathematical manipulation,3-channel
signal amplifier LC3A can be used to convert the mV signal into 0-5V / 0-10V /
4-20mA output. Taking FNZ-100N and LC3A(-10-10V)-24V for
example,the load-voltage relationship will be 0-100N load in
Fx+/Fy+/Fz+ direction VS 0~10V output, 0-100N load in Fx-/Fy-/Fz-
direction VS 0~(-10V) output.Typical applications for this type of
transducer are for example friction force measurement,force control
in robotics,force simulators, force monitoring in handing
devices,industrial test benches,etc..

Load cell zero output(Zero Balance):The output signal of the
loadcell with no-load applied,expressed in mV/V or as a percentage
of rated output.The zero output is caused by the stress during
strain gauge bonding,it can be handled during calibration or signal
processing without affecting the measurement accuracy.
Brief instruction of Rated output(or Sensitivity):
Definition: The signal produced by load cell(or force transducer)
when rated load is applied, expressed in terms of mV/V. The rated
output indicates the output signal range of a sensor.
Sensor output = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of triaxial load cell FNZ is normally around 1mV/V.
Power supply of 3-axis force transducer FNZ is normally within
3-12V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range multi axis force sensor FNZ is normally within
-12mV...+12mV for tension and compression force measurement.
Example one: 3 axis load cell FNZ-10N with 1.0mV/V rated output
power by 5V DC, the output range is -5mV...+5mV proportional to the
applied load.
Example two: Triaxial force sensor FNZ-100N with 1.0mV/V rated
output power by 10V DC, the output range is -10mV...+10mV
proportional to the applied load.
