    Shaft to shaft miniature torque sensor FT05 utilizes metal foil strain gauges which are bonded on a special machined stainless steel body to deliver a maximum 0.2% non-linearity.Micro torque transducer FT05 offers 0.1Nm / 0.2Nm / 0.3Nm / 0.5Nm / 1Nm / 2Nm / 3Nm / 5Nm rated capacities for torque measurement in both clockwise and counterclockwise direction.Each sensor will include a 3m-long shielded cable with mating connector and an in-house calibration certificate to guarantee the sensor performance.Torque meter FT05 adopts shaft-to-shaft configuration which can be connected to drive devices through couplings,the shaft size can be modified or customized to meet mounting requirements of different applications.

    A torque sensor is a transducer that converts mechanical torque into mV signal proportional to the applied torque.The acting torsion causes deformation of the measuring element,the bonded strain gage deforms accordingly which will cause the resistance change of the wheatstone bridge,under constant power supply, the output signal between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally,thus the moment can be measured by measuring the output signal from the transducer.The output range of FT05 is normally within -15mV...+15mV, signal amplification may be required for most applications, a signal conditioner can be used to get -5~5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output for easy data processing.
